The spring break in Como (Term I)

A workation or family holiday near Como, Italy

April 18-25, 2025

Spring full of adventures

for kids from 1.5 to 13 years old and their parents

Join our small group of families (7 in total, 4 available as of Feb 27th) for a relaxed fun holiday or a workation in a prime villa with a heavenly garden near Como San Giovanni. The target “user” is a family of two working parents who can work remotely and prefer to spend school holidays in scenic hills of Lombardy where the kids have a full day educational program in a fun format.
It is also a perfect way to meet up with your friends’ families and spend time together without worrying about how to accommodate and feed them. You all are our guests and we take care of the smallest details.

The kids’ program is determined based on the participating kids’ interests and parents’ desire, but typically includes music, math, astronomy, crafts, performances and plenty of outdoor activities, including age-appropriate survival skills and martial arts. We have had already three trips in the past for kids from 13 months to 13 years, my team has experience in making it engaging for every age.

Kids program

Target ages 4 to 8 y.o. (changes may happen based on the group composition):

Day 1: Dinosaur Eggs hunt (geometry and astronomy). Solve olympiad-style geometric puzzles to make your own dinosaurs, and then treasure hunt them in our park. If time permits: dinosaurs, asteroids, and intro to practical astronomy.

Day 2: Birds, Reptiles and Amphibians Eggs hunt [no animals or eggs are harmed!] (biology and first aid topics). Learn about animals that lay legs and look for them in our park. Mock practicing of dealing with snake bites.

Day 3: Easter Egg hunt with maps and compasses (math and orienteering).

Day 4: We learn about and adapt Alice's Adventures in Wonderland as a live performance (physics and using clocks). Bring your costume if you are a fan!

Day 5: Hunting the perfectly cooked egg: experimentation in the kitchen and in the wild (thermodynamics and biochemistry). Why does the egg cook? What if…? How to cook an egg outdoors?

Day 6: Find dragon eggs (astronomy and maths). Make a solar system and fantasy planets and populate them with dragons and princesses.

Day 7: Putting it all together: the Grand Egg Quest with lots of puzzles and adventures.
